I have now completed my final major project and i am very pleased with the outcome of the show brochure. I have based the theme on graphic designers being 'labelled' and so i have designed an actual label that will be on the front of the brochure. Inside, the theme is typographic and i have also focused on photography of the students, with the name of the student being repeated across their page. Overall I like the brochure itself, however i feel the project itself was not as successful and i will now work on getting it up to a good mark.

For my F.M.P I have decided to design the brochure for the class' end of year show. We have decided on the name 'Labelled', coming from Graphic Designers being "labelled" as a group. My initial logos are of a simple, crisp design that is photographic based and that uses the idea of labels through the book, with perhaps every student having their own barcode.

For the photography i am going to shoot the student (probably in black & white) at work in the studio and in the mac room over a period of time, making sure i get the right shot for each student.

Nike's new advert for Nike Golf has been released and already banned because of controversy. Here are the two videos, both i feel are really creative in such a contrasting way. Have a look after the jump.

Bape have just released the new shots of the collaboration with Kid Cudi. The photography has a real vintage look to them, contrasting with the fresh look of Bape. I may look into this style of photography for my final major project. Take a look at the rest of the photos after the jump.

Photography websites base their layout on the photography itself. These are usually good ways of creating a sleek and modern website that looks creative yet corporate.

Most illustration sites are pleasing to the eyes and are creative to use. They usually use a handmade theme for their layout and this is usually what attracts a viewer onto the web page.
